Ethan Nimmo

Introducing Ethan Nimmo, a dedicated baseball coach and former standout player with deep roots in Lakewood, Washington. Ethan’s love for the game began at a young age with the Lakewood Baseball Club, where he developed his foundation and later earned a spot on the respected LBC Bombers. Over six years of select baseball, he established himself as a consistent competitor and leader.

Ethan attended Harrison Prep, where he excelled both academically and athletically, graduating with a 4.0 GPA. He went on to Clover Park High School, serving as the baseball team captain for three seasons (covid cancelled one season) During his high school career, he earned All-League honors as a pitcher and finished as the league MVP runner-up, solidifying his reputation as one of the top arms in the league.

Although he had opportunities to continue playing at the collegiate level, Ethan chose to pursue coaching, driven by a desire to develop young athletes and give back to the game. He began his coaching career with Lakewood as an assistant coach for the Angels Premier team during both spring and fall seasons in 2022. He also worked as a professional trainer, leading the Vikings 12U Winter Off-Season Training Program with a strong emphasis on fundamentals, structure, and long-term player development in 2023.

Ethan took on head coaching responsibilities at the 13U level in 2024, leading his team to three tournament championships and an overall record of 18-15-1. He returned as a 13U head coach in 2025, finishing the season with a 28-22-1 record and four runner-up tournament finishes, demonstrating steady growth, competitiveness, and consistency.

In addition to his club experience, Ethan currently serves as a Varsity Assistant Coach at Mount Tahoma, where he continues to mentor high school athletes and contribute to program development.

Heading into the 2026 season, Ethan will serve as one of our 12U coaches, bringing a strong pitching background, proven leadership, and a development-first mindset.
